Dr. Jordan B. Peterson sits down with author and philosopher Jack Symes. They discuss the ability of man to conceptualize God, the arguments for and against both an evil God and a perfect God, the evidence for a transcendent good to exist, and why happiness and suffering are the wrong theological axes.
Jack Symes is a public philosopher and researcher at Durham University. Dr Symes is best known as the producer of The Panpsycast Philosophy Podcast, one of the UK’s most popular higher education podcasts. Jack is also the editor of the Talking about Philosophy book series, which features contributions from some of the world’s most influential thinkers. His books include "Philosophers on Consciousness: Talking about the Mind" (2022), "Philosophers on God: Talking about Existence" (2024), "Defeating the Evil-God Challenge: In Defence of God’s Goodness" (2024), and "Philosophers on How to Live: Talking about Morality" (forthcoming).

The Company of Eagles was established in 1985 by an Air Force veteran.
The company was re-established under new ownership in 2014 after passing of the founder and his son. The business was left to the son’s life long friend who was there to see the building of the company from the beginning and still uses the same family of craftsmen to create these magnificent emblems. Our promise was, and remains to continue the legacy of the Bergsmann family business. The new ownership has been in the apparel trades since 2004 and combined these two businesses into a single operation. So our offerings are an expansion of available products to better serve the collectors and gift markets. You can always be confident in the quality of products from The Company of Eagles. Thank You, and we look forward to serving you!
